
Bob, Tail Twister
Lion Bob joined our club in 1963 sponsored by his father, Past International President, "Doc" McCullough, Sr. He came to the club as a working lion, professionally, morally, and lionistically. He has held many club positions, volunteered at children's Christmas parties, Frame It Forward, our partnership with Channel 2 News and Triad Eye Institute, Mobile Health Screening Unit and volunteers for our community at Mayfest, Oktoberfest and our KidSight program. He received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award in 2021-2022 and the IP Robert McCullough award in 2022-2023. Lion Bob serves as the Tail Twister.

Chris, Member
Chris joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in October 2022, sponsored by Lion Mike R. He volunteers for community events such as Tulsa Tough, Oktoberfest, the Oasis Fresh Market Giveaway and has helped with the eyeglass recycling program. Originally from Yoakum, TX. He has volunteered for organization such as Habit for Humanity, the Blessed Sacrament homeless shelter in Lawton and the Texas Masonic Fraternity.

Connie, Lion Tamer
Connie joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in July 2021, sponsored by Lion Tina. She volunteers for community events such as Mayfest, Oktoberfest and our KidSight program. Lion Connie serves as the Lion Tamer.

Daniel, Member
Daniel joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in November 2021, sponsored by Lion Gaylon. Daniel is a fourth generation Tulsan who has spent the past twenty years working within entrepreneurial businesses, such as his family's company Garden Deva Sculpture. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President for Price Family Properties. Daniel is a board member of the Foundation for Tulsa Schools, Tulsa Little Jam, Tulsa Global Alliance, Harmony Project Tulsa and Tulsa's Great Raft Race. He has previously served on Tulsa Regional Chamber's Executive Committee, as 2016 TYPros Chairman, as President of TARC, as a member of the Downtown Coordinating Council and in many other community organizations. Daniel has been recognized as Oklahoma Magazine's 40 Under 40 and the Tulsa World's Tulsans of the Year. Daniel and his wife, Stephanie, reside in midtown and are both members of the Rotary Club of Tulsa.

Emily, Member
Emily joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in June 2022 sponsored by her mother, Lion Tina. Emily was born in Tulsa and attended Broken Arrow schools and graduated in 2014. She then went to Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor of science in Interior Design. After graduation she started at a residential and light commercial design firm in Jenks called GHD Interiors. Emily learned of the Lions club from her mother Tina, and has attended some events with her for a few years before joining herself in 2022. In the fall of 2020 she married her high school sweetheart Blake. They live on a couple of acres in Coweta where they enjoy spending time with their four fur-babies aka their two dogs and two cats. Emily also enjoys all things crafty, especially fiber arts such as embroidery and weavings.
Gaylon, Club Treasurer
Gaylon joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in August 1991 sponsored by Lion Bob G. Gaylon was named the Club's Lion of the Year in 2004 and 2010 is a Past-President and he received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. Gaylon volunteers for community events such as Mayfest, Tulsa Tough, Oktoberfest, Oasis Fresh Market Christmas Giveaway and Frame It Forward, our partnership with Channel 2 News and Triad Eye Institute and our KidSight program. Lion Gaylon serves as our club treasurer.

Henry, Member
Lion Henry has been a Lion for many years, transferring from the Inola Lions Club to our Club. Lion Henry as served on the board of the Lions Meadows of Hope foster community, the board for the Lions of Oklahoma Eye Bank is a past district governor, Lion Henry serves on the board for the Oklahoma Lions Service Foundation.

James, Member
James joined our club in 2021. He is a member of the board of directors for Happy Hands Education Center, one of the organizations our club supports with donations. He is a past president of both the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and the Tulsa Financial Planning Association, as well as numerous other non-profits.

Jo, Member
Jo joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in December 2020, sponsored by Lion Kim. Jo serves as our chair for the Sight Conservation Program. He volunteers for community events such as Mayfest and our KidSight program.

John, 1st Vice-President
John joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in August 2022 sponsored by Lion Jo. We met John through New View of Oklahoma. John is the new Development Specialist, returning to the non-profit industry after a decade in hospitality. He has earned his Master of Social Work from OU-Tulsa, as well as an MBA from Northeastern State University. He led a powerful geriatric consortium in Tulsa and has been mentored by our own Sarah Frey for years. John has two dogs, Prudence, a Miniature Boston Terrier, and Chloe, a Miniature Poodle. He loves to garden. John serves our community at Mayfest, Oktoberfest and the Oasis Fresh Market Christmas giveaway. Lion John serves as our 1st Vice-President.

Julie, Club Secretary
Julie moved with her husband to the Blew family farm in Cherokee, Oklahoma in 1978. Soon after he joined and became very active in the Lions Club of Cherokee and was a member until they left in 1988. In a small club like the one in Cherokee, the wives could be very active if they wanted to be but not as an official member. She chose to be very active. In recent years she has volunteered her time at community events such as Oktoberfest, Veterans Stand Down of 2022, Salvation Army bell ringing and serving hundreds of meals to the homeless. Lion Julie serves as our Club Secretary.

Kelleen, Member
Kelleen is a native Orgaanian who moved back to Tulsa summer of 2022. She has been involved with Lions since 2013 when she joined the Kenia AK Lions Club. She transferred to the Lake Oswego Lions when moving back to OR in 2018. Kelleen recently started working at Senior Star as their Recruiting and Onboarding Coordinator. In her spare time she enjoys having people over and cooking if she is not outside trying to find some mischief while hiking.
Madelyn, Member
Madelyn joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in July 1999, sponsored by her husband, Lion Terry. She has served as our club historian and rabbi/chaplin. She's held numerous positions in the club including lion tamer, chaired a successful Lions Internal "Campaign Sight First II" project, and chaired the 90th anniversary celebration. She received the 2000 Dewey Hodges Lion of the Year award. She has served as 3rd, 2nd and 1st vice president, and was club president for 2005-2006. She was awarded the President's Excellence Award by the State Lions organization for that year. She became a Melvin Jones Fellow in 2007. She's also known for her highly sought after pumpkin bread - auctioning it off at meetings when she was president to help raise funds for the club.

Mary Jane, Board Director
Mary Jane retired in 2006 following a 22-yr career with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Okla. She was Mgr of the Okla. Caring Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation during her the final years of her career at BCBS. Mary Jane has been a member of the League of Women Voters since 2008. She is a past Dir. of the Board of Dir. for the League of Women Voters for Metropolitan Tulsa and a Trustee of the League of Women Voters of Oklahoma. She has served as the Voter Svcs chair for both the Tulsa and Okla. Leagues, has chaired the Program Comm. for the Tulsa League, facilitated the Water Study for the League of Women Voters of Okla. as well as the Focu$ on Education coalition project. She was the Project Team Leader for the 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022 Okla. Voter Guides, a project of the Okla. League of Women Voters. In the past she was involved in Junior Achievement, served on the Board of the Tulsa Immunization Coalition, was a member of the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club (President and Chairman of the Board), is a member of All Souls Unitarian Church and has served on the Tulsa Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Survivors and as chair of the VIP (Voting Is Power) Coalition. She received a B. A. degree from the Univ. of Okla. in Speech Communication. She enjoys playing bridge, traveling, and reading and creates photo videos as a hobby. Mary Jane was married to Gary for 44 years until his passing in 2023. Her two children and their spouses and six grandchildren live in Tulsa.

Mike, Member
Lion Mike joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in 1984, sponsored by Lion William . He has served in many officer positions in our Club, including as President in 1991-1992. He received the Melvin Jones Fellow award in 2012. Before coming to Tulsa, Mike was a member of the Ponca City Lions Club (1975-78) and the Lawton Noon Lions (1978-1981). Mike is best known as Santa to many Tulsa children, volunteers are community events such as Mayfest, Tulsa Tough, Oktoberfest and our KidSight program.

Patty, 2nd Vice-President
Patty joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in October 2004 sponsored by Lion Carl. She has chaired the Boat Sport & Travel Show, the Green Country RV Show, chair of the Tulsa Public Schools Holiday Parties, the Mobile Health Screening Unit, the chair for Oktoberfest and volunteers for our KidSight program. Patty is the 94th club president having served in 2009-2010 and again for 2017-2018 as the 102nd president. Patty was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellows Award in 2007 and was the 2011-2012 Lion of the Year and again in 2018-2019. Since joining in 2004, Patty has brought in many new members. She is currently our 2nd Vice-President.

Sara, Member
Sara joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in June 2018 sponsored by Lion Stacy. Sara is active in serving the community in events such as Mayfest, Oktoberfest, Tulsa Tough and our KidSight program.

Scott, President
Scott joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in May 2002, sponsored by Lion Elizabeth. He left the Lions Club in July 2011 and rejoined June 2022, sponsored by Lion Patty. He was President for 2007-2008. He is a past winner of the highly coveted "Chuck Chili" award. He volunteers for community events such as Mayfest, Oktoberfest and our KidSight program. Lion Scott has a passion for helping non-profit organizations. He is a past board member of TARC and is a volunteer with Bit by Bit a therapeutic horse ranch for students with special needs. Lion Scott serves as our President.

Sherrie joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in January 2017 sponsored by Lion Stacy. Sherrie volunteers for community events such as Mayfest and Oktoberfest.

Stacy joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in January 2002 sponsored by Lion Gaylon.. Stacy was named the Club's Lion of the Year, is a Past-President and she received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award in 2017-2018. Stacy volunteers for community events such as Mayfest, Oktoberfest, Oasis Fresh Market Christmas Giveaway and Frame It Forward, our partnership with Channel 2 News and Triad Eye Institute and our KidSight program. Lion Stacy is our membership chair.

Stan, Member
Stan joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in April 2001 sponsored by Lion Terry. Stan has been busy serving in community events such as the Tulsa Boat Show, Mayfest and Oktoberfest.

Steve, Member
Lion Steve joined Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in 1990 sponsored by Tulsa attorney, Ben Murdock, who was once my grandfathers law partner and Mayor of my hometown, Pryor, Oklahoma. Steve volunteers for Mayfest, Oktoberfest and the Christmas parties. Born in Pryor and my father was President of the Pryor Lions Club. I attended the Lions International Meeting with my family in Los Angeles in 1964! He was a sailor in the US Navy. Lion Steve moved to Tulsa in 1975 and attended Tulsa University majoring in finance. He became a financial consultant in 1985, with a small local firm and then for worked at Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley for 17 years. He is an independent financial consultant with LPL Financial for 17 years. Lion Steve has two sons, Mitch, and Clay, and one girlfriend, Sara.

Susan, Member
Lion Susan joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in 2017 sponsored by Lion Stacy. Susan volunteers for Mayfest, Oktoberfest, Stand Down Tulsa and the KidSight vision screening team. Lion Susan served as President during the 2021-2022 session.
Terry, Member
Terry joined the Tulsa Downtown Lion Club in August 1980. He is a 2nd generation TDLC member, following in his Father's footsteps. His Mother was quite active as a member for many years of the Club's Lady Liontamers. Lion Terry has served on most of the Club's projects, including Chairman of the Annual Christmas parties, Boat Show Chairman, Sight Conservation Committee, Publicity, Tail Twister, and served as TDLC President for 1993/1994. Other positions held include Chairman of the Board, Membership Chairman, Director, and as Secretary/Treasurer. He and his wife, Madelyn, also a member of the TDLC and a past President, used to host the annual chili cook-off, and he was known as "Catfish Pickens" at the Handicapped Children Christmas parties. He has previously provided communication devices for the Lion of the Day at the Tulsa Boat, Sport, and Travel Show.

Tim, Member
Tim joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in June 2018 sponsored by Lion Tonja. Tim is active in serving the community is events such as Mayfest, Tulsa Tough and Oktoberfest.

Tina, Board Director.
Tina joined the Downtown Tulsa Lion's Club in 2016, sponsored by Stacy. She has served as board member, second vice-president, and president. She has been awarded a Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Tina enjoys participating in many of the clubs activities including working at Mayfest and Oktoberfest, assisting with Mobile Health Screening Unit activities, Kidsight screenings, and many other activities. Tina was awarded the Lion of the Year award for 2019-2020. Lion Tina serves as a Board Director.

Tonja joined the Tulsa Downtown Lions Club in October 1992, sponsored by Lion Carl. Tonja is a past-president. She is the director of Community Relations for River Parks Authority and volunteers for community events such as Mayfest, Oktoberfest and Tulsa Tough.
